Major online retailers' websites are still working amid this afternoon's massive internet outage, including Amazon, Best Buy, Target, Walmart, and eBay.
The outage appears to be affecting dozens of online services, including the ecommerce platform Shopify. None of the aforementioned retailers use Shopify as their main selling platform, though Walmart and Target rely on it to support their third-party marketplace sellers.
A Mashable reporter was able to add products sold by Walmart Marketplace sellers to their cart and get through the checkout process. However, the site was very slow to load.
It's still unclear what exactly caused today's outage, which was reporting broad service issues on its status page at the time of writing.
