Visited a top bank in Asia and I was shocked by their attitude toward Bitcoin

I live in one of the most developed countries in Asia, where it is a place with a well-established financial system and a thriving economy. Last week, I visited one of the most popular local banks to seek some investment advice. When I asked the banker about Bitcoin related investment options, her response was surprisingly arrogant and cold. She told me bluntly that their bank doesn’t offer any Bitcoin investments, not even anything remotely related to it. When I asked for her personal opinion on Bitcoin, she admitted she had heard of it, knew it was "highly volatile", but said she didn’t understand it and therefore couldn’t give me any advice. Honestly, I left the bank feeling disappointed. It really hit me that Bitcoin is still in a very early stage of adoption. Most people in traditional finance still carry a sense of pride, even arrogance, when it comes to rejecting Bitcoin as a legitimate asset class. But maybe that’s also a good thing. It means we’re still early. There’s still time to work hard, build wealth, and steadily accumulate Bitcoin before the rest of the world catches up. Stay strong, stack sats, and let’s keep building.
