Today is Epoch day for Bitcoin
Personal story about my morning today: I own a house with some equity in it - about 400k. I also have an investment portfolio that is 100% bitcoin - about 400k. I called my mortgage lender to see if I can tap into my equity to also invest into bitcoin. Their interest rate is about 6% They asked me about my employment information. I am laid off and don't have any income. They asked me about my investments that they would be able to package a loan against as collateral They turned me down because it's all in crypto. They would be willing to write me up a new mortgage if it was in index funds like the snp500 I told him "Who's going to want to hold stocks today when it's appreciating less than bitcoin? It's going to suck out the investment capital from every other asset. Everybody wants to make money right? Everybody wants to be financially free right?"
