Robinhood allows you to purchase crypto with zero fees. You can even set up automatic recurring purchases on a daily, weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis; for as low as a dollar per transaction. What I don't know is how the price you pay compares to other platforms. I have read that Robinhood sets up transactions with vendors that give them the best kickback, not the one that gives you the best rate. I like that Robinhood offers such a low barrier to entry, as most CEXs will charge almost as much in transaction fees as for the coin itself, if they even allow purchases below $30. And gas fees are even higher than CEX fees, so DEX is off the table.
