My First Bitcoin Purchase 06 03 2025
Today, I initiated my first investment in Bitcoin by purchasing 247 shares of the iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) at $60.735. My strategy is to dollar-cost average (DCA) into the ETF on a weekly basis over the next 8-10 weeks, aiming to accumulate a position equivalent to one Bitcoin. As often seems to happen with my stock purchases, the market dipped shortly after my buy at around 11:45 a.m. EST, but I’m sticking to my plan.
