Berlin-based Enter, a one-stop platform for energy efficiency in the real estate sector, has successfully completed its Series B funding round, raising over €20 million for a total investment (since 2022) of over €40 million.
Returning investors include Coatue, Target Global, noa (formerly A/O Proptech), Partech, and Foundamental, joined for the first time by SE Ventures, the venture arm of Schneider Electric.
“With our unique asset-light approach, we can help millions of homeowners to sustainably reduce energy costs and improve energy efficiency in the future. The Series B is a milestone for Enter on this journey and will help us achieve this goal even faster,” says Max Schroeren, CEO and Co-founder of Enter.
Enter was founded in 2020 by Max Schroeren, Justus Menten, and Alex Müller and offers a comprehensive service for energy-efficient renovations. Enter supports owners of single-family and multi-family homes in the analysis, planning, financing, and execution of energy-efficient renovations.
Homeowners reportedly receive tailored renovation packages, making energy-efficient renovations “easy and affordable“.
Enter helps more than 25,000 clients optimise their properties annually, with a reported growth rate of over 100%.
As per figures provided by Enter, in Germany alone, more than 15 million buildings need energy optimisation, with over 180 million properties across Europe requiring similar improvements.
The complexity of energy-efficient renovations presents significant challenges for many property owners. Enter looks to simplify this process through innovative technological solutions. Their ‘Address Intelligence Tool’ enables building analysis based on cadastral, geo, and satellite data, while a nationwide data collection team conducts on-site assessments using a custom-developed app.
Its platform enables fully automated property assessments in minutes, generating AI-powered renovation plans tailored to climate goals, subsidies, and energy costs. Using a nationwide network of over 100 vetted contractors, Enter matches projects with the right partners instantly, turning a process that once took weeks into a transparent and scalable digital experience.
Enter’s AI-driven system reprotedly cuts 70% of manual effort, reduces staff needs by 60%, and triples customer capacity. In Q2 2025 alone, over 30,000 buildings were analysed, fully automated and subsidy-compliant.
Thanks to strategic partnerships with players like Dr. Klein, Allianz, and Engel & Völkers, Enter reaches over 6 million households annually, integrating renovation insights into the key moments of property purchase, financing, and insurance—offering a seamless, all-in-one energy upgrade solution.
“Homeowners are often unsure when it comes to the energy efficiency of their property. Our technology automates the analysis of renovation and savings potential, enables well-founded decisions and maximises efficiency for customers and installation partners. It was this vision that led me to join the founding team over a year ago,” says Matthias Laug, CTPO at Enter.
A core component of the Enter platform is its fully integrated marketplace, featuring partners such as Thermondo, Aira, TMP Fenster, and Otovo. Their pricing logic allows customers to receive three tailored offers immediately after data collection.
Additionally, Enter offers the Enter Pro platform, which enables financial brokers and agents to expand their consulting services around energy efficiency.
“Enter solves a major pain point in the renovation journey of homeowners in Germany. It has shown great traction and their series B will allow them to accelerate the deployment of their differentiated products in Germany,” says Julien Cristiani, General Manager von SE Ventures.
Enter is using the Series B capital it has raised to accelerate its growth strategy. In the B2B segment, Enter Commercial has already established partnerships with listed companies, family offices and mid-sized property owners. With a combination of a software platform and on-site analyses of thousands of buildings, Enter claims to be the only provider in the market to offer a genuine E2E service for energy portfolio optimisation.
