Bitcoin just got an upgrade — are these changes a big deal or just background

So I just read about the latest Bitcoin Core update (v25.0) and figured I'd bring it up here to see what you all think. There were some cool changes in it, like better privacy for how Bitcoin nodes talk to each other and improvements that help with transaction fees and wallet setups. The devs also tweaked stuff related to Taproot (remember that upgrade from a while ago?) to make it work better. But honestly, unless you’re super into the technical side of Bitcoin, you might not even notice this update happened. At the same time, Bitcoin is trading above $105K, and open interest in futures is at an all-time high — so the market is clearly paying attention to something. Interested to hear everyones thoughts about the current market and what your plans are... Also has anyone else seen that guy saying that BTC could reach 600k in the next few months? submitted by /u/CANTKILLBI11 [link] [comments]
