With the agreement on a new deal, Duran and the Red Sox avoid arbitration.
The new deal is worth $3.85 million for the 2025 season and $8 million for the 2026 club option, ESPN’s Jeff Passan reports.
Duran, 28, finished eighth in 2024 American League Most Valuable Player voting, earning his first career All-Star selection and batting .285 with 111 runs scored, 48 doubles, 14 triples, 21 home runs, and 34 stolen bases.
The Red Sox have no remaining players eligible for salary arbitration.
