New sister in law causing family drama
My brother in law started dating a woman about 3 years ago and I did my best to include her even though everyone felt she was narcissistic and annoying. I was warned by many people that she would stab me in the back and she did. We had our ranch name for over 20 years (husband's last name) and within a few months she was telling people that THEY were actually the ranch name and was posting that we were frauds on social media. It was affecting our beef business so we changed our name. She began dressing like me, buying the exact boots I wore, wearing her hair like me, collecting animals on the farm like us. It was like single white female. She prides herself as a sex goddess (something I do not do) and posts AI fake photos of herself as she thinks she is a social media influencer. For months she has been lying to family that I am saying bad things about all of them, turning them all against me and I can't defend myself because I don't know what is being said. I just get hateful stares and comments from them and I know something has been said. I'm tired of chasing the lies. I've had several things come back to me that I debunked as total lies but she won't stop. My brother in law has joined in lying as well. It has tore the family apart. I don't even go to their family get togethers now. I don't want the drama. Is this a disorder that can be diagnosed? I'd like to address this with the family but most of them have not seen Single White Female. Haha. But I feel she wants my position in the family that I've had for 20 years. She can't push out the blood relation and I'm the only in law so I'm an easy target. If I knew what the disorder was - maybe I could understand it better. Thanks.
