Shangri-La Circle has created the “Feast For Prosperity” dining promotion which promises to distribute 4 Million points in prizes for the top 3000 members who spend the most in dining at Shangri-La properties.
The top prize is USD 6,800 Dining Credit for the first place and it goes down to USD 1,388 Dining Credit up to rank 10 after which only points will be distributed to registered members.

Simply register and spend at participating restaurants and bars worldwide from 20 January to 16 February 2025 to enter Prosperity Leaderboard challenge.

From 20 January to 16 February 2025, registered members who spend at our participating restaurants and bars worldwide can enter Prosperity Leaderboard. The more you spend, the higher your rank. Top 3,000 winners will receive dining credits or bonus points as rewards.

The credit card portion of this promotion isn’t applicable to anyone outside mainland China which is the only place where co-branded credit cards exist.
The chance to get between 1,888 – 688 points isn’t too bad in my opinion. Shangri-La Circle isn’t a huge program and the number of members who register and actively participate in this is minimal.
This, by the way, is the case with every program’s membership base. Only a small amount of members actively sign up for promotions, not to speak of being able to actually complete it.
Shangri-La has run dining-based promotions before to engage members, for example after the pandemic they offered to extend your status for having just one dining transaction at a Shangri-La property.

The footprint of Shangri-La hotels isn’t huge in the Western Hemisphere. There are a few properties here and there but most of them are in Asia.
Conclusion
Shangri-La is running a Chinese New Year-based promotion called Feast For Prosperity, which rewards members who dine at their properties even when not being a staying guest. This is a similar concept to Marriott, Hyatt, and IHG where you can earn points when dining at hotel restaurants.
Under this promotion, you earn your typical base points and secure your spot on the leaderboard, which will then give you your share of the prize.
Aiming for the lower end of the prizes isn’t too unrealistic, in my opinion. For the upper ranks, you have to throw out a very expensive family or company dinner. Shangri-La hotels are usually high class with expensive restaurants so reaching a high bill isn’t too difficult. Especially with a large family or corporate function.
These are the Terms & Conditions for this promotion:
1. “Prosperity Leaderboard” (the “Promotion”) is organised by Shangri-La International Hotel Management Limited (the “Company”). It is eligible to registered members of Shangri-La Circle (“Member”).

2. The Promotion Period is from 00:00 (GMT+8) on 20 January 2025 to 23:59pm (GMT+8) on 16 February 2025, both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”).
3. Each member can register once during the Promotion Period.
4. Member can participate the Promotion by registering via the campaign page on the Shangri-La Circle website, Mobile App or WeChat Mini Programme during the Promotion Period, and by spending at selected participating restaurants and bars worldwide during the promotion period.
5. All eligible spending during the Promotion Period will be automatically enter the Prosperity Leaderboard. Members can login the campaign page to check the cumulative eligible spending.
6. There are a total of 3,000 leaderboard prizes and the grand prize goes to the Member who has the highest cumulative spending during the promotion period, and so forth. If the members have the same cumulative spending, the Company will award the prize to the member who made the transaction first.

9. Eligible spending is based on USD. Eligible spending does not include spending on government and local taxes, service charges, tips, gift certificates or vouchers, catering and events spend, deliveries, mini bar, in-room dining, late charges, no-show charges, and cancellation penalties. Spending in Shangri-la eBoutique will not count as eligible spending.
10. The Dining Credit & Points will be automatically credited to the account of eligible members on or before 31 March, 2025.
11. Dining Credit will be applicable in the same hotels which Member dined during the promotion period.
12. The Dining Credit is exclusive for the recipient and membership number associated when the Dining Credit was issued. An individual who has multiple accounts enrolled and with multiple Dining Credit issued shall only entitle the offer once. Dining Credit issued from duplicate account will become invalid once the profiles are merged.
13. The Dining Credit and Points earned from this promotion cannot be revoked, transferred or exchanged for cash, and are non-refundable.14. Use of Dining Credit may be subject to availability, voucher validity, minimum spend, blackout dates and its applicable terms and conditions. For more details, please refer to the terms and conditions of the Dining Credit.15. Any manual adjustment does not count and the amount of eligible spending recorded in the system will prevail.16. This Promotion is not applicable for reservations via third party channels.17. The Promotion and Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions, discounts, special offers or gift vouchers, and is not valid for existing reservations. Purchase with Staff discount is not applicable.18. This Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers (including Shangri-La Circle member birthday offer) or gift vouchers.
