Prime Video has released the trailer for the comedy documentary titled This is the Tom Green Documentary. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen anything with Tom Green in it. He was extremely popular in the ‘90s and this autobiographical doc film explores the comedian’s career. The title is a reference to his old comedy / prank show that used to open with a song called “This is The Tom Green Show,” which ran from 1994 - 2000.The film follows Tom Green's career as “a trailblazing influence on comedy, film, television, and internet culture, with thousands of hours of digitalized personal footage, rare episodes, and unseen raw footage from past series and films.“The documentary captures the early days of his humble beginnings in Canada, to stardom in Hollywood, as he goes full circle and returns to his roots moving from his LA home to a rural farm in the country. “Tom reveals the highs and lows of his journey including his creative process, his controversial antics, and unique brand of humor that has had a lasting impact on a generation of comedians.”Green directed the film, and he also directed Freddy Got Fingered, Subway Monkey Hour, and a never released doc called Prankstar.
