Taylor Swift & Morgan Wallen Lead Nominees at 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards, Where Eras Tour Will Be Named ‘Tour of the Century’

Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen are the leading contenders for the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards, with 10 nods each. They are followed by Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone and Sabrina Carpenter, with nine nods each. All five artists are nominated for artist of the year, as are Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, Jelly Roll, SZA and Teddy Swims.

The awards are set for Monday, March 17 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, airing on FOX.

Lady Gaga will receive the 2025 iHeartRadio Innovator Award, Mariah Carey will receive the 2025 iHeartRadio Icon Award and Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour will be named Tour of the Century (despite the fact that we’re only one-quarter of the way through the century).

The iHeartRadio Innovator Award is presented to an artist who has impacted both music and global culture throughout their career. Past recipients are Pharrell Williams, Justin Timberlake, U2, Bruno Mars, Chance the Rapper, Alicia Keys, Swift and Beyoncé.

Past recipients of the iHeartRadio Icon Award are Bon Jovi, Elton John, Jennifer Lopez, Pink and Cher.

The 12th annual iHeartRadio Music Awards will celebrate the most-played artists and songs on iHeartRadio stations and the iHeartRadio app throughout 2024, while also offering a preview of the upcoming hits of 2025.

This year’s show will also pay tribute to the resiliency of Los Angeles following the wildfires that have devastated the region in the past two weeks and will drive donations to Fireaidla.org. Contributions made to FireAid will be distributed under the advice of the Annenberg Foundation, which will help coordinate a team to direct funds for the greatest impact.

“Our iHeartRadio Music Awards show is not a competition, it’s a night where we honor the incredible artists and songs that fans loved all year long – and this year’s show will shine a light on the devastating tragedy that impacted Los Angeles and enable us to deliver on our commitment to the communities we serve,” John Sykes, president of Entertainment Enterprises and Tom Poleman, chief programming officer of iHeartMedia, said in a joint statement.

Fan voting will determine this year’s Favorite Soundtrack, Favorite Broadway Debut, Favorite K-pop Dance Challenge, Favorite Surprise Guest and Favorite Tour Tradition (all of which are new categories this year), plus these five returning categories: Best Lyrics, Best Music Video, Favorite Tour Style, Favorite Tour Photographer and Favorite On Screen. Social voting begins today, Jan. 22, and will close on March 10 at 11:59 p.m. PT. Fans can vote by visiting iHeartRadio.com/awards.

The nominees for favorite Broadway debut include Adam Lambert in Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club, Nicole Scherzinger in Sunset Blvd and Sebastián Yatra in Chicago.

Jack Antonoff, who was inexplicably passed over for a Grammy nod for producer of the year, non-classical, was nominated here for producer of the year, where he faces Julian Bunetta, Evan Blair, Mustard and Dan Nigro.

Additional categories include Label of the Year and individual winners for Album of the Year in music’s biggest genres, including Pop, Country, Alternative, Rock, Dance, Hip-Hop, R&B, Latin and Regional Mexican formats. For a full list of categories, visit iHeartRadio.com/awards.

The annual event is set to air live from Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Monday, March 17 (8:00-10:00 p.m. ET live / PT tape-delayed) on FOX. The event also will be heard on iHeartRadio stations nationwide and on the iHeartRadio app.

Executive producers for the iHeartRadio Music Awards are Joel Gallen, for Tenth Planet; and Sykes, Poleman and Bart Peters, for iHeartMedia.
