The SEL Skills Google, Microsoft, and Other Top Companies Want Schools to Teach is an interesting Ed Week article where leaders of big companies share what they supposedly are looking for in potential employees.
They all sound good, and excerpts from it would be useful for a classroom lesson.
They cynical part of me hopes they’re all not “virtue-signaling” and, in fact, are instead prioritizing hiring for people they feel will do what they’re told, not rock the boat, and work long hours for low wages.
