Heinrich, Schuring Join Manthey EMA for Bathurst 12H

Laurin Heinrich and Morris Schuring will make their Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour debuts as they complete the lineup for Manthey EMA’s Pro-Am class Porsche entry.

Heinrich and Schuring will share the No. 91 Porsche 911 GT3 R, which was revealed in full livery at The Bend on Wednesday morning, with brothers Yasser and Sam Shahin for the opening round of the new Intercontinental GT Challenge season.

Yasser Shahin will aim to win the Pro-Am class for a second year in succession having triumphed alongside Alessio Picariello and Harry King in the 2024 running.

He and Dutch teenager Schuring spent last year sharing a car in the FIA World Endurance Championship’s LMGT3 category, taking class honors in the 24 Hours of Le Mans alongside Porsche factory pilot Richard Lietz.

Like Schuring, IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GTD Pro champion Heinrich will be tackling the Bathurst 12H for the first time.

Porsche will have representation in the fight for overall Bathurst 12H victory with Absolute Racing’s No. 91 car driven by Picariello and two members of Manthey EMA’s race-winning 2024 crew, Matt Campbell and Ayhancan Guven.
