Explore a Cursed Forest on Your Bike in ‘Vicious Cycle’ [Trailer]

It’s not every day you get a horror game involving a bike, but when you think about it, it’s definitely ripe for potential. That’s certainly what Brave Traveller Games is thinking with Vicious Cycle, their upcoming first-person title that’s set to hit PC via Steam later this year.

It’s a pretty simple premise: Vicious Cycle is a horror game where you venture into a dark forest by bike and on foot. With only your bicycle light as a guide, you’ll have to navigate hazardous trails on your bike until the path is blocked.

From there, you’ll need to explore and figure out how to navigate these abandoned sites in the forest on foot while solving puzzles and learning of the stories of the people that were once there. And of course, to add to the scares, you’ll need to deal with the possessed creatures of the forest. Fighting isn’t an option, so you’ll be having to hide from and avoid them in order to avoid a grisly end.

If you’re keen on trying out the game prior to its eventual release, Brave Traveller Games will be holding a limited time beta for Vicious Cycle, where you’ll be able to try the game early and give feedback on the experience.
