Canucks send Lekkerimaki, Brisebois to AHL

The Vancouver-Abbotsford pipeline continues to churn. Forward Jonathan Lekkerimaki and defenceman Guillaume Brisebois were sent down to AHL Abbotsford, the Canucks said on Sunday.

Canucks send Lekkerimaki, Brisebois to AHL

The Vancouver-Abbotsford pipeline continues to churn.

Forward Jonathan Lekkerimaki and defenceman Guillaume Brisebois were sent down to AHL Abbotsford, the Canucks said on Sunday.

Lekkerimaki, 20, has appeared in 11 contests with the NHL club this season, notching two goals and an assist.

Brisebois, 27, is without a point in three games with Vancouver.

Following their feisty 3-2 win over the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday, the Canucks return to action Tuesday when they visit the Buffalo Sabres.
